Hold-down devices made from high-performance materials - reliable, pressure-resistant, gentle on the material

Hold-down devices ensure that components are held securely in place during machining or assembly. They hold workpieces positively against a surface or contour without damaging them - even with high contact forces. The aim is to achieve non-slip positioning that is also gentle on the surface.

Depending on the area of application, hold-down clamps must meet special requirements: They need to be temperature-resistant, abrasion-resistant, non-conductive or non-magnetic. In these cases, high-performance ceramics or high-performance plastics from DOCERAM are used - distributed by MEGATRON AG.

Ceramic hold-down clamps are particularly suitable for use at high temperatures or in aggressive media, as they are extremely resistant to heat, wear and corrosion. In combination with metal components, an optimized component design is created: only the stressed area is made of the high-performance material, while the holding part - e.g. the screw connection - can still be made of steel.
