ELTIMID - The new polyimide material in the extensive DOTHERM portfolio.
LTIMID offers operating temperatures from -250 °C up to 280 °C, with short-term peaks of up to 400 °C . Thanks to its high wear resistance, this material is particularly suitable for oil-free applications with long service lives.
ELTIMID is used primarily in areas where other high-performance plastics reach their limits. Thanks to its exceptional dimensional stability, even at high temperatures, ELTIMID is ideal for demanding applications.
The material properties enable a wide range of applications. With comprehensive chemical resistance, ELTIMID is a versatile all-round material. Thanks to the material's isotropic structure, both simple and extremely complex geometries can be implemented without any problems.
ELTIMID is available in both unfilled and graphite-filled variants. The graphite filling additionally improves the tribological properties of the material to achieve even better results in sliding applications.
