Spacer

Spacers - precise spacer components for demanding applications

Spacers are construction elements that position two components at a precisely defined distance from each other. They are always used when a constant distance is required or functional free space needs to be created in the structure.

In industrial environments, spacers often have to functionunder high mechanical and thermal loads- for example in the event of temperature shocks, in abrasive processes or in contact with aggressive media such as acids or alkalis.

Depending on the requirements, spacers are made of steel, plastic or technical ceramics. Ceramic variants in particular offer advantages in terms of dimensional stability, wear resistance and temperature resistance -ideal for durable, low-maintenance constructions.
