As a DOCERAM sales partner, Megatron supports its customers with advice, product selection and application-oriented solutions made of technical ceramics - for reliable, durable and precise process components.
Dosing technology is a central process in many industrial applications and is continuously being developed and optimized. The aim of dosing systems is to convey, dose, apply, remove or discharge materials as required or continuously - depending on the process requirements.
This technology is used in a wide range of areas: in material preparation, process monitoring, joining processes such as bonding technology or microdispensing. Components such as pumps, valves and fittings play a crucial role here.
Megatron is the official distributor of DOCERAM 's high-performance ceramic components - especially for dosing technology. The materials impress with their extreme wear resistance and corrosion resistance - even under the most demanding conditions.
DOCERAM products enable durable and precise solutions where conventional materials reach their limits. Thanks to our many years of experience, we will work with you to find the right solution for your application.

Dosing components
These components are constantly being further developed to ensure maximum precision and durability.

When transporting components and products within industrial processes, there are different requirements for the materials used. Heavy or heated components with sharp and abrasive edges often need to be transported safely without causing damage to the components or transport systems. Applications in the food industry have special requirements in terms of hygiene, material compatibility and process safety.
In addition, transportation processes often require high thermal shock resistance, for example in induction applications, as well as high temperature stability and mechanical robustness to ensure uninterrupted production.
As a reliable partner, Megatron AG offers solutions made of DOTHERM materials that have been specially developed for the demanding industrial transportation of components. These materials combine temperature resistance, wear resistance and mechanical stability and help to make transportation within manufacturing processes efficient and safe.
Depositing plates, cooling plates, pusher plates, cross belts, grippers and levers made of DOTHERM materials are manufactured for glass production and glass blowing machines. They enable safe depositing and handling of glass products at high temperatures and ensure reliable and damage-free processing.

Coatings on handling components significantly reduce friction and wear and improve chemical resistance. These coated components offer an extended service life and enable safe and gentle handling of components even with demanding media.

Slide rails made of DOTHERM materials offer excellent sliding properties and reduce frictional wear on guideways and transport systems. They enable precise and low-wear movement of components and are used in particular in automated manufacturing processes to increase process stability.

Gripper fingers with specific contours are used to safely pick up, grip, transport or guide components. They are primarily used in electronics production and are designed to prevent damage to sensitive surfaces while ensuring stable positioning.

Hold-down devices ensure the secure positioning of components during machining by holding them against a surface or contour. They are designed for applications where precision and process reliability are paramount.

Positioning pins enable controlled, finely toleranced positioning of components and sheet metal parts during production. They make a significant contribution to increasing repeat accuracy and quality in series production.

Test plugs are made of various high-performance materials and are used for reliable 100% testing of automotive electronics. They are standard for leading manufacturers in the automotive industry and enable reliable and gentle handling of electronic assemblies during the test process.

Goods carriers are used to safely transport and hold products such as printed circuit boards within production processes. They must be electrically insulating, resistant to temperature changes and wear-resistant in order to enable reliable and damage-free handling.

Workpiece carriers and workpiece holders ensure the exact positioning of components during series production, especially when welding, gluing, riveting or soldering. They are designed for high cycle rates and help to make processes efficient and stable.

During plastic welding, high temperatures are generated that need to be specifically insulated. Insulating components made from DOTHERM materials enable short cycle times by controlling the heat supply to the joining zone and at the same time ensuring process reliability through stable positioning of the components.

Megatron AG offers high-quality transport solutions from DOTHERM that are tailored to the requirements of modern manufacturing processes. The materials used ensure high process reliability, extended service life and efficient transportation of components even under demanding conditions.
This enables smooth and efficient production, reduces downtimes and helps to optimize production costs.
Megatron AG will be happy to provide you with individual advice on the selection of suitable transport solutions within your production processes.
In handling technology, the challenge often lies in the detail: even if components appear simple, they must be handled with repeat accuracy, positional stability and without any damage. This places the highest demands on the material used - it must be virtually wear-free, resistant to environmental influences and media, and must not leave any abrasion on the product.
High-performance ceramics are ideally suited to these requirements. Its hardness, dimensional stability and surface quality make it the preferred material for precision positioning applications.
Megatron distributes innovative ceramic components from DOCERAM, which have been specially developed for demanding handling and positioning. Whether in highly automated production lines or for precise insertion processes - DOCERAM components offer maximum wear resistance and process reliability.
Support pins
Are used for the precise positioning of workpieces and devices. The pinpoint support prevents soiling and makes cleaning easier.
Locating pins
Manufactured from Cerazur ceramic, they are characterized by high wear resistance, electrical insulation and a long service life - ideal for the precise mounting and alignment of components.
Positioning pins
For fine-tolerance, reproducible positioning of components and sheet metal parts - a must in any high-precision production environment.
Workpiece holders and carriers
Ensure the exact positioning of components, especially in series production with high cycle times such as welding, gluing, riveting or soldering.

Forming technology - maximum resistance for demanding processes
Forming technology, especially in metal processing, is one of the manufacturing processes with the highest demands on tools and components. When processing hard materials - such as form-hardened sheet metal - extreme mechanical stresses occur that quickly push conventional materials to their limits.
In addition, deposits and adhesions, such as aluminum on steel tools, often occur, which can further impair the service life and reproducibility of the processes.
As an authorized partner, Megatron offers DOCERAM's high-performance technical ceramics, which have been specially developed for the extreme conditions in metal forming technology. These materials offer outstanding wear resistance, thermal stability and a non-stick surface - ideal conditions for durable and stable metal forming processes.
Forming rollers (deflection rollers)
These components are exposed to high forces and friction. Ceramic forming rollers offer a superior service life, reduce deposits and enable high surface qualities in the end product. They make a significant contribution to process stability and the reduction of tool changes.

At the end of every manufacturing process is the test - crucial for quality and functionality. So-called end-of-line tests (EoL) are used in testing technology. The electronic or mechatronic component is contacted via a test plug, functions are checked, software is loaded or stress tests are carried out.
These testing processes often take place in three-shift operation, with tens of thousands of insertion cycles per day - the highest stress for every test component. This is where the wheat is separated from the chaff: only materials with extreme wear resistance and dimensional stability meet these requirements in the long term.
Megatron distributes the high-precision ceramic test components from DOCERAM, which have been specially developed for demanding EoL test applications. High-performance ceramics are superior to other materials in many respects: they are electrically insulating, non-magnetic, extremely wear-resistant and dimensionally stable even with minimal wall thicknesses - even after millions of mating cycles.
Conventional materials such as plastic wear out quickly and can no longer meet the increasing demands for miniaturization and process reliability. Ceramic test plugs made from DOCERAM materials:
are up to 20 times more wear-resistant than hardened steel
offer lasting dimensional accuracy, even with tolerances in the micrometer range
prevent abrasion and contamination in the test environment
ensure electrical insulation and mechanical robustness
Many automotive suppliers already rely on ceramic test plugs from DOCERAM - with success.
