Corrosion resistance, resistance to aggressive media, pressure resistance and wear resistance: these are the properties that count in pump technology, and high-performance ceramics have them all. Whether metering units, plungers for high-pressure pumps, nozzles, sliding rings, plain bearings, slides, valve needles, valve guides, valve seats, pistons, cylinders or pressure packages - numerous components used in pumps come into contact with hot, highly abrasive, chemically aggressive or viscous media and have to withstand pressures of several thousand bar. At the same time, frictional resistance should remain as low as possible.
High-performance ceramics ensure that the components concerned reliably regulate the supply and removal of the respective substances even under these high chemical and physical stresses.
