Tools and components for manufacturing technology in the electrical industry and mechatronics have to face two major challenges: High cycle rates and sensitive components. High-performance ceramics can deal with this contradiction particularly well. Because on the one hand it is very wear-resistant, and on the other hand it is technically clean and electrically neutral when it comes to components such as circuit boards, control units, radio keys, switches or sensors.

Another property of this material is its electrical and electromagnetic neutrality, which allows it to be used in high-frequency, low-frequency and induction applications. In such places, one usually works with plastic, which, however, is not nearly as wear-resistant. For typical applications in this field, DOCERAM manufactures locating pins, stops, grippers, positioning units, material carrier holders, placement nozzles and crimping tools made of various high-performance ceramics.
