DOCERAM Z-141 is a high-performance technical ceramic based on
yttrium-stabilized zirconia (ZrO₂ TZP-A). The material combines
high mechanical strength with excellent fracture and impact toughness.
This makes Z-141 particularly suitable for components that are exposed to high mechanical
loads and severe wear.
With a bending strength of 1,200 MPa, a compressive strength of
3,000 MPa, and very low thermal conductivity of less than
2 W/mK, Z-141 offers a reliable solution for precise and durable
industrial components. The material can be used at operating temperatures up to
1,000 °C.
