With advanced ceramics, the chemistry is right

 

Filters, linings, laboratory porcelain, packing, components for fittings and valves, wear protection plates and sealing discs: Today, high-performance ceramics are found in all these parts. This is because they offer the necessary resistance to acids, alkalis and abrasive substances.

And especially important: advanced ceramics are chemically inert, which means they do not react or hardly react with other substances. This rules out the possibility of the production process or the end result of a chemical reaction being affected by undesirable side effects.
