Large cores for high-performance energy conversion

Ferroxcube specializes in the production of large cores for high-performance energy conversion applications. Demand for these cores is growing rapidly, driven by new applications such as fast DC chargers for electric vehicles and inverters for photovoltaic systems. Our large cores are also used in a variety of other applications, including data centers, semiconductor manufacturing equipment, welding equipment and many other industrial applications.

We offer a wide portfolio of large cores with different features. Shapes with rounded legs simplify the winding process, while E and U cores are preferred for larger cross-sections as they can be connected in parallel to multiply the effective area. In addition, we offer the possibility of building inductor cores from ferrite blocks, which enables the creation of the largest magnetic cores.
