Incremental optical scale for CNC machine tools

  • Optical scale with glass measuring rest, especially suitable for CNC machine tools.
  • Resolutions up to 10 nm.
  • Degree of accuracy ± 5 μm in the standard version and ± 3 μm in the high-precision version (± 2 μm for measuring lengths up to 720 mm).
  • Non-extensible sealing lips along the sliding surface of the reader head, attached to the lateral ends.
  • Innovative device inside the scale for the disposal of liquids coming from inefficient filtration systems.
  • The special sealing lips and the liquid disposal device provide excellent protection of the scale from cooling liquids often used during machining.
  • A metrological certificate is supplied with each scale.
  • Linear coefficient of thermal expansion λ = 8 x 10-6 °C-1.
  • Adjustable connection cable output. Connector inside the transducer.
  • Reference indices with coded distance or with constant step, with predefined or or selectable positions.
  • High accuracy and stability of signals even at high speeds, strong accelerations and vibrations.
  • Protected against power supply polarity reversal and short circuits at the outputs.
  • Small size to allow installation in tight spaces.
